Franklin County Announces 15 Recoveries, Two Cases
Franklin County Presiding Commissioner Tim Brinker said Tuesday morning that 15 patients have recovered from COVID-19, while two new patients had been diagnosed.
There also was another death, identified as an 89-year-old female from Washington.
Brinker said the woman was a resident at Grandview Healthcare Center.
Of the 131 confirmed cases since March 23, 36 remain active, with 23 in skilled nursing facilities and 13 residing elsewhere in the county.
New Cases
The new cases are identified as a 28-year-old female from Washington and a 53-year-old female from Union.
Both are quarantined and contact tracing has been completed.
Recoveries
Overall, there have been 81 recoveries. The latest recoveries are as follows:

- 83 female, Washington
- 97 female, St. Clair
- 88 female, St. Clair
- 66 female, Union
- 47 female, Sullivan
- 84 female, St. Clair
- 84 female, Washington
- 77 male, Washington
- 81 male, Washington
- 86 male, Washington
- 72 female, Washington
- 90 female, Washington
- 89 male, Washington
All six patients from Sullivan have reportedly made recoveries.
