Franklin County Reports 30th COVID-19-Related Death
The Franklin County Health Department reported its 30th death due in part to COVID-19 on Tuesday.
An 87-year-old Catawissa man is the latest victim, the 12th since Aug. 15.
New COVID-19 cases were down from their 14-day average on Tuesday. There were 21 reported.
Additionally, six cases were removed.
Tuesday’s numbers bring Franklin County’s total to 1,813.
The 10-day rolling total is 323 and the 14-day average of new cases is 31.
The positivity rate is 6.1 percent, unchanged from Monday. Over the last 14 days, it is 10.67 percent.
Fourteen cases are in long-term care facilities.
Eleven people are hospitalized.
