No New Cases, Two More Recoveries

Franklin County reported no new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday morning as the number of active cases dropped to 28.

The county announced two more people have recovered, including a 25-year-old male from Gray Summit and a 58-year-old male from Washington.

This brings the number of recoveries to 92.

Franklin County has had 135 cases since March 23.

Fifteen people have died from complications.

Of the 28 active cases, 19 are in skilled nursing facilities and nine more reside in the county.

Presiding Commissioner Tim Brinker said the health department has hired two additional contact tracing employees.
