Two New Cases Of COVID-19 Reported

Franklin County on Thursday morning announced that two people have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

They have been identified as a 62-year-old female from Union and a 61-year-old male from St. Clair.

There are 30 active cases.

Since March 23, there have been 137 total cases.

Of those, 92 have made recoveries.

Nineteen of the 30 active cases are in skilled nursing facilities and 11 reside in the county.

The newest patients are outside nursing facilities.

They have been contact traced and quarantined.
