“Our Town” At The Washington Town & Country Fair
While a bunch of Lang-A-Tang BBQ fans were waiting for the results of the Wing Ding and Brewfest on Sunday afternoon, Kathie Zuroweste suggested that the headline should reflect “Our Town” which represents the pride and support the citizens of New Haven contribute to the Fair. For example, Ellen Zobrist commented that Pepsi has been a big supporter and sponsor of the Fair “for over 30 years.” The Pepsi banners have framed the main stage performers for many years past just as they did for all of the performers this year, including Saturday’s headliners, ZZ Top. While they tragically lost vocalist and bassist Joe “Dusty” Hill at the end of July, they still came out and played to a standing-room only crowd of local fans.
Over the four days, there were several other events besides the concerts.
