Annual German Dance at American Legion Hall

The New Haven German-American Club will sponsor its annual German Dance at the New Haven American Legion Hall on Friday evening, November 3. The dance will feature the music of the popular Loehnig German Band. The band will play from 8 to 11 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for $5.00 per person at the door. Proceeds from the event go to support the German-American Club's student exchange program and to assist with German heritage activities in the community.
New Haven established a sister-city partnership with the German city of Borgholzhausen in 1994. Many German immigrants came to the New Haven area in the mid 1800s from the region of Westphalia, Germany where Borgholzhausen is located.
