Augusta Plein Air Art Festival Finale

Artist Julie Wiegand finished this year’s Augusta Plein Air Art Festival  by painting several oil paintings of the landscapes and a red wing black bird. She had a marvelous time during the various event, and put her finished and framed works on display on Saturday for final judging.

The town square event featured a live jazz band with all the artists’ works on view and for sale. This capped off the end of this year’s Augusta Plein Air Art Festival, and was well-attended by tourists and townspeople alike. With grand plans ahead for bettering the area, one hopes that the 19th annual festival in 2022 will be even grander.
