Big Crowds Expected for Youth Fair Tractor Pulls

Another big crowd is expected Saturday for the Youth Fair Truck and Tractor Pull on the lower American Legion grounds, featuring both Xcaliber and Open Farm pulling classes.

The pulls normally attract in the neighborhood of 1,500 people to the fairgrounds for shows that run until midnight.

 “The main event is the Xcaliber pullers,” said Tractor Pull Chairman Allen Scheer. “They’re a sanctioning body that travels across the state. They put on shows, probably 30 shows a year at different fairs and events.”

Xcaliber Pulling Classes include 4.1 Limited Pro Stock Tractors, Pro Stock 4X4 Trucks, 6000 Extreme Super Stock Tractors, Modified 4X4 Trucks, 6400 Limited Pro Stock Tractors and 8500 Limited Pro Stock Tractors. The Xcaliber Pull starts at 7 p.m.
