Big Crowds Turn Out For Youth Fair, Tractor Pulls

The New Haven community turned out in big numbers for the Youth Fair held Friday and Saturday on the American Legion grounds.

The fair began Friday with a series of livestock show and concluded Saturday night with a packed hosue for the Truck and Tractor Pulls.

With temperatures in the mid-80s to low 90s, it was hot but no oppressive and was helped by intermittent breezes.

"The weather cooperated pretty well with us this year," said Tractor Pull chairman Allen Scheer. "In the past it's been a lot higher than it was. It was nice for the Tractor Pull.
