Boys Win State Cross Country Championship

The New Haven boys cross country team fulfilled a big goal by winning their first State Championship at Jefferson City on Saturday.

It was the 18th state title in New Haven's sports history. The Shamrocks won their 17th last spring in girls track.

"Saturday was very special for both teams," said Coach John Tucker. "The boys won the first cross cross state championship in school history and the girls tied their best state finish." The girls finished second.
