Burned House To Be Torn Down

The City of New Haven plans to proceed with demolishing the burned out house at 212 Thurman St. as soon as questions are cleared up about the lien that will be placed on it.

A rough estimate places the cost to the city of around $16,000. The actual cost will be included in a lien against the property so the city can be reimbursed if the property ever sells.
