Cape Girardeau Paddler To Paddle The Mighty MO

Paddle Stop and Astral Glass regularly receive visits from paddlers intending to make the Missouri River journey from the source to the confluence of the Missouri and the Mississippi. This past week Nick Early, a peddler from Cape Girardeau, intends to start at the source of the Missouri in Montana and follow it down and finish at his home in Cape Girardeau on the Mississippi River.

Astral Glass glass blower, Lance Stroheker told a couple of stories of his own adventures in the same area and gave Nick a few tips on what to avoid while traveling through the upper Missouri. Early packed up his canoe and supplies and headed off to Montana, where he hoped to reach the source and to get started by Sunday.
