Charges Filed In Double Shooting From Feb 9

On Tuesday, February 15, a warrant was signed for the arrest of Gerald resident Randall L. Kagy, aged 65, for first-degree domestic assault and felony armed criminal action. Mr. Kagy allegedly shot his wife twice before also shooting himself around 4 p.m. Wednesday, February 9. The victim is expected to survive her wounds. 

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office has reported that Mr. Kagy remains under doctor's care so has not been booked into the jail. He is, however, in custody with deputies.
