City Board Has New Look After Election

Otten, Steelman Win Alderman Posts

The New Haven Board of Aldermen has a new look with the election of two new board members in balloting last week.

Ward 1 Alderman Tim Otten and Ward 2 Alderman Scott Steelman were sworn in at Monday night’s April meeting. They replace Harold Ray and Stephen Miller on the board.

Otten defeated Keith Strobel, 92-58, for the Ward 1 seat vacated by Ray, who did not file for re-election. In Ward 2, Steelman defeated Miller, a three-term incumbent, 112-69.
