Dave Grannemann And A New Business World

Dave Grannemann says that he has been amazed by how much the world has changed due to people working from home, and how that brings businesses some unique challenges. His own business, Shelter Insurance, has confronted things with his work that causes him to change the way he interfaces with his underwriters.

The only times wherein an underwriter working from home might really impede Dave’s work are when he would need an immediate response on a claim or a policy and his underwriter might not be right by the phone as they would be in an office. Dave also remarked over how the efficiency of self-policing can be difficult when working from home. He admits that even he might not be as efficient if he had to work from home all the time.

Dave likes coming into the office to “keep in schedule.” Dave sees this evolving business world as “a new world we are living in” and “probably better in the long run.”
