David Menke To Give Online Lecture About Anna Bell Chapel

David Menke, president of the New Haven Preservation Society, will give a presentation through the ECC guest lecture series about Anna Bell Chapel’s history and the recent preservation efforts. This lecture will be held online via Zoom on Thursday, May 13 at 7 p.m.

There are currently fundraising efforts under way to help restore and move this historic chapel to a prominent location in downtown New Haven. The stately chapel is currently perched on a bluff overlooking downtown and rarely gets a visitor as all of the congregation have now passed away. It has received minimal basic care over the years, but is slowly deteriorating.
