Downtown Project Runs Into Issues

As engineers prepare to submit preliminary plans for the Downtown Phase 1 improvement project, anticipated problems have surfaced with the Missouri Pacific Railroad right-of-way.

Part of the project was to replace the rapidly deteriorating wooden tie retaining wall between the railroad tracks and Front Street.
