Fundraising Planned For Cell Boosters

In an effort to improve cell phone service in the downtown area, Downtown New Haven Inc. will launch a fundraising drive to pay for towers and equipment to cover the area east of City Hall.

The downtown group hopes to add two boosters similar to what is now used by the City of New Haven at City Hall and the police station.

The new boosters would likely be located about halfway down Front Street and at the eastern end of the street.
