Girl On Ice Cream Quest Visits Town

A homeschooled five-year-old girl from Waynesville is on a mission.
After learning that the ice cream cone was invented in 1904 at the World Fair in St. Louis, Taylor Duncan wanted to learn more about the state.
She was in New Haven over the weekend, having ice cream with Mayor George Panhorst and riding in his convertible during the Balloon Festival Parade.
