Maupin Work Clears Way For Project

The start of the Maupin Phase 2 project is inching ever closer.

Another hurdle was cleared last week when the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) approved the awarding of the contract to Spencer Contracting, the low bidder at $821,981.

City crews are also wrapping up the replacement of an old water main under Maupin. About 2,600 feet of eight-inch PVC main was installed, replacing an old four-inch ductile steel line.
