Miller's Landing Days to be Reborn In May

Miller’s Landing Days, a downtown festival that was discontinued nearly a decade ago, may see a rebirth next spring.

The New Haven Area Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with Downtown New Haven Inc., is looking at resurrecting Miller’s Landing Days on a weekend in May. Plans were discussed at the August Chamber meeting on Thursday.

“It could start out like Fire Fest,” said Chamber President Mark Wehner. “We could have vendors and food along Front Street or around the corner. It’s something that will attract people hopefully and get them downtown again.”
