New Command Structure For New Haven Police Force
Tue, 07/18/2017 - 3:24pm
Effective immediately, the New Haven Police Department has a new command structure.
Two patrol officers have been promoted to sergeant and each will be in charge of a shift, Police Chief Dan Terry confirmed last week. The new sergeants are Jackie Brown and Darrell Flora.
The new structure was approved by the board of aldermen at its July meeting. It replaces the previous setup that included an assistant police chief. The city sought applicants for assistant chief before opting for the new command structure.
