New Haven, Hermann Teens Killed In Crash On Highway 100

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a New Haven teen and Hermann teen were killed Sunday morning on Highway 100 in Franklin County.

Keegan Weidemann, 18, New Haven, was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:32 a.m. He was the driver of a 1991 Ford Ranger that overturned.

The highway patrol said the other fatality was a 15-year-old Hermann male. The teen was pronounced dead at 8:37 p.m. on Sunday night after being transported by ARCH Air to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

The highway patrol said the accident occurred when Wiedemann lost control on the curvy road, traveling back and forth between the two sides.

The vehicle overturned and ejected both occupants.

Neither was wearing a seat belt.
