New Haven School District, R-II School Earn Perfect Scores On APR

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) announced the statewide results for district Annual Performance Reports (APR) for the 2017-2018 school year earlier this month. Both the New Haven School District and Franklin County R-II School received perfect scores of 100 percent.

The APR score is determined based on five factors: academic achievement from all students, academic achievement from students in subgroups (which includes students who are Hispanic, black, on free and reduced lunch (FRL), in the individualized education program (IEP) or English language learners (ELL)), college and career readiness (CCR) or high school readiness (HSR), attendance and graduation rate.

For the past few years, both New Haven and R-II School have kept their APR scores within the 90-percent range. New Haven's score is an increase from last year's 96.8 percent, and R-II has seen an increase from last year's 91.3 percent.
