New Museum Opens At Old Grade School

The Journey Begins Museum is now officially open.

The museum, located in the Old New Haven School on Maupin Avenue, made its public debut last week with an appreciation reception for everyone who helped make it possible.

The New Haven Preservation Society hosted the event to recognize companies and individuals who contributed in some way, such as providing artifacts, making a donation or allowing the use of their artwork in the exhibits.
