Park Board Weighs Event To Promote City Trail System

The growing city trails system needs a little more use from local walkers.

The answer may be an event that draws people to the trail, member Alan Bell told the park board at its June meeting.

“The city is doing a really good job of building our trail system, but we still have a lot of walkers using the streets,” he said.  “And we’re not getting as much use as I think we should have on the trails.”
