Public Works Complex Now Taking Shape

Moving the New Haven Public Works Department and EMA to the new complex on Industrial Drive began November 2 and is continuing on a daily basis.

“It’s in the process,” said Public Works Director Peter Otten. “Every day we do a little bit more. We’re officing out of here (the new building), still waiting on a couple of items for the desks.”

For now, Otten’s office, the EMA office and desks in the public entrance area are partially set up.  Last week, coaxial cable was being run by RadioComm from the EMA to the newly relocated radio tower outside.
