Ten Local Vets Headed To DC On Honor Flights This Fall

Ten New Haven area Vietnam Era veterans are headed to Washington, DC this fall with Franklin County Honor Flight.

Honor Flight is a non-profit group that flies veterans on a one-day trip to see the World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War memorials. They also visit Arlington National Cemetery for the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown.
