Washington Man 19 Charged With Domestic Assault

According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office on 10-25-17 Deputies were contacted by a victim of an assault and learned that she had been assaulted on the span of several days at an apartment on Pleasant View Drive, Washington. Deputies noted that the victim sustained numerous injuries that collaborated her statement. The victim told deputies that her boyfriend punched her, choked her and kicked her repeatedly causing her serious physical injury. The victim wanted to leave the apartment on several occasions and attempted to call 911, however, was prohibited from leaving and calling 911 by the suspect. During the investigation Deputies were able to collect evidence of the assault. A 19 year old Washington man identified as; Quinton Skanes was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault 2nd with the bond set at $10,000.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
