Youth League Opening Day Set Saturday

The New Haven Youth League kicks off its biggest season yet with a full slate of Opening Day games this Saturday.

Games start at 9 a.m. and continue until around 10:30 p.m. with the last games starting at 9.  All but one will be played at Lions or Bock Fields in City Park.

At noon, the season formally begins with a color guard and the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a few remarks by league officials.
