City Begins Search For Police Chief

New Haven is looking for a new police chief.

The city began advertising the opening last week following the sudden resignation of Dan Terry on Tuesday night.

Terry said he was retiring because he is tired of missing time with his family due to the demands of police work.

No interim chief has been appointed to fill the role while the hiring process is underway.
