Carpenter Performs For Wiegand Spring Painting Show

Julie Wiegand’s Spring Painting Show at her home in the restored Lyon School House featured singer Sophie Carpenter. Carpenter performed for Wiegand’s patrons as they viewed her newest works, including several paintings from the recent Augusta Plein Air Event.

Wiegand’s work will also be included in the upcoming Washington Art and Wine Festival along with Photography by the New Haven Independent New’s own editor, Tony Carosella. Various artists from around the area are participating in the month-long display in the windows of Washington Downtown shops.
