Naming Pool To Fund Maintenance

The City of New Haven and the Park Board are presenting a funding opportunity to businesses or individuals in New Haven who may want their name on the pool.

As conditions of the contract with this individual or business, the Park Board would:

1.) Name the pool after this business or individual for 20 years.

2.) All city websites, material and social media would reference this name.

In return, from the individual or business:

1.) The individual/business would commit to a 20 year annual payment of $10,000 per year (or whatever is negotiated). This could be an annual payment or quarterly.

2.) The individual/business would receive 1 possible extension of another 20 years if so desired, with the current payments being the same.

The revenue from this agreement would only be used to subsidize the operation costs of the pool.
