Emma Jean Rodgers,

Emma Jean Rodgers, 84, of New Haven, MO, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri.

Emma Jean was born in Perryville, Missouri on June 20, 1938, the daughter of the late Frank & Anna Mae (Pecaut) Buchheit.

She was the wife of Marvin D. Rodgers.  They were united in marriage on August 20, 1955, in Perryville, Missouri.

Emma Jean was a member of Assumption Church in New Haven.  She worked for Kellwood and also numerous other local jobs.

Emma Jean is survived by her husband Marvin Rodgers, of New Haven; a daughter, Donna Hoerstkamp & husband Hugo, of New Haven, Missouri; two sons, Butch "Joseph" Rodgers & wife Debra, of Washington, Missouri; and Tom Rodgers & wife Christine, of Washington, Missouri; a sister, Virginia Boxdorfer, of Barnhart, Missouri;  four brothers, Jim Buchheit, of Washington, Missouri; Don Buchheit, of Washington, Missouri; Mike Buchheit, of Washington, Missouri; and Larry Buchheit, of Union, Missouri; by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul Buchheit.

Visitation was held Thursday, September 15 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, where a rosary service followed at 7 p.m.

Interment was at Assumption Cemetery, New Haven. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
