Leonard Pehle

Leonard Pehle, 95, of New Haven, MO, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at Mercy Hospital, Washington

Leonard was born in Senate Grove, Missouri on November 27, 1926, the son of the late Arthur & Florence (Albersworth) Pehle.

He was united in marriage to Mary E. Koelkebeck on April 14, 1951, at St. Peter's U.C.C., New Haven.  Mary preceded him in death on October 11, 2008.

Leonard drove a truck for Kellwood for many years.  He was a former member of the New Haven Saddle Club. In his free time he enjoyed trail riding, coon hunting and watching Nascar Racing.

Leonard is survived by a son, Mark Pehle & wife Sue, of New Haven, Missouri; two granddaughters, Sara Pehle-Spray & husband Jaron, of Green Acres, Florida and Amy McDermott, of Valley Park, Missouri; two great grandchildren, Conner & Mason  McDermott and a brother, Glenn Pehle & wife Elaine, of New Haven, Missouri. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Pehle, one brother, Merlin Pehle and one sister, Ellie Roux.

A private graveside service will be held at New Haven Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or New Haven Ambulance.
