Eric T. Hanks,

Eric T. Hanks, 35, of New Haven, MO, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri, after a long courageous battle with an immune deficiency disease.

Eric was born in Washington, Missouri on September 29, 1987, a son of Karen (nee Menz) and Leland Hanks, of New Haven.

Because of his disease his work time was limited, but he enjoyed  working  as a painter  for his father when he could.

Eric enjoyed hunting, fishing, biking and the many camping trips with his parents and family.

He is survived by his  parents, Karen and Leland, by his grandparents, Louis and Margaret Menz, of New Haven, by  aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He is also survived by his very special best friend, Rylie, his dog.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William A. Hanks and the Rev. Ruth L. Hanks.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, MO, where funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m.

Burial will be in the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, New Haven, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Freedom Center, Union, Mo, Freeway Ministries or Heartland Ministries.
