Eunice Dorothy Heimes-Menke

Eunice Dorothy Heimes-Menke, 100, of New Haven, MO, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023 at New Haven Care Center, New Haven, Missouri.

Eunice was born in Swiss, Missouri on December 10, 1922, the daughter of the late Emil J. & Ida (Hahn) Stephan.

Eunice was united in marriage to Elmer Heimes on October 14, 1945, in Charlotte, Missouri.  Elmer preceded her in death.  She later married Eugene E. Menke on October 9, 1993 in Swiss, Missouri. Eugene preceded her in death on February 26, 2013.

Eunice was a member of Swiss Evangelical Reformed Church, Swiss, Missouri and the Hermann V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.  In her free time she loved to cross stitch and quilt.

Eunice is survived by a daughter, Kathy Springer & husband Larry, of Moberly, Missouri; three grandchildren, Chad Lackman, Brian Gilbert and Christopher LeBus, three great grandchildren, Mariah, Zachary and Gannon and two great-great grandchildren, Bently and Cooper.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Elmer Heimes and her second husband Eugene Menke.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will be at Swiss Evan
