Angela “June” Hoerstkamp, 82, of New Haven, MO, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, MO.

June was born in Washington, MO on June 24, 1936, a daughter of the late Alfred H. and Anastasia M. (McDonald) Brunnert.

She was the widow of Bernard H. Hoerstkamp.  They were united in marriage on October 15, 1960, at Assumption Church, New Haven. Bernard preceded her in death on May 6, 1997.

June is survived by a daughter, Lynn Laubinger & husband Chad, of Gerald; a son, Brian Hoerstkamp, of New Haven; a daughter, Brenda Menke & husband Kirby, of New Haven; a special friend, Harold Roethemeyer, of Gerald; by four grandchildren, Storm Vollertsen, Ashley Gilliland, Abigail Menke, and Andrew Menke, by two great grandchildren, Emma Brown & Ava Gilliland; two sisters-in-law, Jean Hoerstkamp & Janet Eggers; and a brother-in-law, Earl Hagedorn. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters, Rosemary Brunnert and Rosalie Gan.

June was a member of Assumption Church, New Haven and she was the treasurer for New Haven Little League for many years.

She worked for Kellwood and then for Mar-Chem in New Haven for over 39 years. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal's fan. She enjoyed watching from home, attending games, and she even made it to Florida for spring training several times. She also enjoyed bowling, being with her friends, enjoying a cold Miller Lite Beer and traveling and fishing with Harold Roethemeyer.

Visitation was held Sunday, June 9 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.

A funeral mass was held Monday at 10 a.m. at Assumption Church, New Haven, with Father John Deken officiating.

Burial was at Assumption Cemetery, New Haven, Missouri.

Memorials may be given to American Diabetes Association or Lupus Research Alliance. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
