Catherine Clare Guin

Catherine Clare Guin, 93, of New Haven, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at New Haven Care Center.

Catherine was born in Clayton, Missouri on July 27, 1930, the daughter of the late Charles H. & Bessie May (Kilpatrick) Glader.

She was married to William E. "Bill" Guin in 1978, at St. James Church, Stony Hill.  Bill preceded her in death on May 9, 1995.

Catherine was a member of St. James Evangelical Church, Stony Hill, Missouri, where she also served on the Women's Guild. She worked as a medical technologist at a lab and several hospitals.  She also worked for Kellwood Company and AARP.

Catherine enjoyed reading, bible study, classical music, gardening and collecting dollhouse miniatures.

Catherine is survived by a son, James Skelton & wife Loretta, of Kaiser, Missouri; a daughter, Paola Mitchell & husband Murray, of Ellijay, Georgia; a daughter, Norma Davis & husband Steve, of Union, Missouri; a son, Stewart Skelton & wife Sarah, of Hollywood, California; a son, Todd Skelton & wife Kristina, of Osage Beach, Missouri; a son, Jerome Guin, of Lake Ozark, Missouri; 10 grandchildren, numerous grandchildren, a nephew and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 20th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. James Evangelical Church, Stony Hill, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Tom Lloyd officiating.

Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery, Berger, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to St. James Evangelical Church Women's Guild.
