Edward L. Seitter, 81, of New Haven, passed away on November 3, 2023. Ed, son of the late August Seitter and Flora nee Trost, was born on January 13, 1942 in New Haven. He received his education from New Haven High School. Ed retired from Hazel Mfg. in Washington.

Ed loved to go fishing. His favorite hobby was attending events for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ed was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and enjoyed collecting coins. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in New Haven.

Mr. Seitter was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Arnold Seitter, Glen Seitter, Emerson “Skip” Seitter, Eloise Linkinhoker, Melvin Seitter, Rose Brune, and two daughter-in-laws, Mandy Seitter and Sonya Pinnell.

Among his survivors are three children, Tricia Weible and husband Todd of St. Clair, Lesley Almond and husband Aron of Brookfield, MO, and Chad Seitter of New Haven; three step-children, Dawn Launius and husband Jeff, Gerry Pinnell, and Jim Pinnell and wife Karla; grandchildren, Paige Helmig and husband Kyle, Sadye Weible, Isaiah Weible, Jaron Almond, Jordyn Almond, Abigail Seitter, Lucas Seitter, Brinley Seitter, Maizie Seitter, Alisia Launius, Shawn Launius, Brie Pinnell, Russell Pinnell, and Sierra Pinnell; great-grandchildren, Landin, Dakota, Jase, Kolt, Dawndriea, J.T., and Sophia; two sister-in-laws, Marilyn Seitter and Georgia Seitter; other relatives and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 9-11 a.m. at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in New Haven, with a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the St. Peter’s U.C.C. Cemetery in New Haven. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association.
