Greg C. Graue, 60, of Hermann, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri.

Greg was born in Mexico, Missouri on September 12, 1960, the son of the late Carl & Martha (Schmidt) Graue.

He was the husband of Karen (Overkamp) Graue. They were united in marriage on June 27, 1981, at St. Martin’s Church, Starkenburg, Missouri.

Greg has worked as a mechanic for the John Deere Dealership in Hermann since 2004, for L & S Equipment, then later Sydenstricker, and now Sydenstricker Nobbe. Before working for John Deere he also worked as a boat mechanic for Eberlin Boats & Motors, and for Elco Chevrolet for several years.

Greg was a member of the Hermann Volunteer Fire Department, the Hermann Eagles and a former member of the Hermann Jaycees. In his free time Greg enjoyed doing farm work at his farm, hunting, fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Greg is survived by his wife, Karen Graue, of the home; two sons, Jacob Graue & wife Bekah, of Washington, Missouri; and Derek  Graue & wife Jessica, of Hermann, Missouri; a sister, Carla Engemann & husband Denis, of Hermann, Missouri; a brother, Doug Graue & wife Carol, of New Florence, Missouri, a sister, Darla Schutt & husband Darren, of Hermann, Missouri;  by three grandsons, Everett, Reid and Hank Graue, by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a niece Michelle Engemann.

Visitation was held Friday, July 30 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where a memorial service followed at 7 p.m.

Memorials may be given to Hermann Volunteer Fire Dept. or Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
