Harrison Eugene Wehmeyer

Harrison Eugene Wehmeyer (Gene), 63, of Owensville, MO passed away Saturday, February 24 at Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO.

Gene was born in Hermann, MO on July 14, 1954 to Earnest and Frieda Wehmeyer.

He was preceded in death by both parents, Earnest William Wehmeyer and Frieda Mae Wehmeyer (Jones) of New Haven, MO and his younger brother Bruce Allen Wehmeyer of Fountain Valley, CA.

He is survived by his sons, Harrison Eugene Wehmeyer II (Geno) of Hermann, MO, Jeffrey Wehmeyer of Hermann, MO, Michael Wehmeyer of O’Fallen, MO, Shawn Wehmeyer of Cuba, MO, Ben Wehmeyer of Sullivan, MO, and Charles (Charlie) Wehmeyer of Rolla, MO.

He is also survived by 5 brothers and 2 sisters, Nancy Turner of Belle, MO, William David Wehmeyer of Fenton, MO, Carrie Thomas of Kansas City, MO, Richard Steve Wehmeyer of Kansas City, MO, Mark Wehmeyer of Owensville, MO, Doug Wehmeyer of Washington, MO and Fred Wehmeyer of Kansas City, MO.

He had 7 grandchildren, Chris, Ben, Eleanor, Logan, Alexander, Blake and Avery.

He was cremated at Rolla Cremations. A memorial will be held for family and friends at a later date to be announced.
