Herbert  H.  Strubberg, Jr., 72, of Rhineland, MO, passed away Friday, January 7, at Hermann Area District Hospital, Hermann, Missouri.

Herbert was born in Washington, Missouri on September 27, 1949, a son of Dorothy (Bacon) and Herbert H. Strubberg, Sr.

He worked as a Fabricator at Tradco in Washington, MO, for over 43 years.

He enjoyed working on the family farm, horseback riding, fishing and especially spending time with his family.

He was the husband of Anna L. (nee Stolte) Strubberg. They were married on May 8, 1976 at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Haven, Mo.

Herbert is survived by  his wife Anna, by two sons Herbert Strubberg III, and wife Tammy of Hermann; Thomas Strubberg, and special friend Pam of Hermann; by 8 sisters, Dorothy Pruessner of Union; Mary Turner and husband Roger of Owensville; Barb Pruessner and husband Sam of New Haven; Sharon Bond and husband Dennis of Des Peres; Rose Tredway of Hermann; Carol Glavin of Kansas City; Donna Hackmann and husband Rick of Hermann and Wanda Onger and husband Lance of High Hill, by 3 brothers James Strubberg and wife Vicki of New Haven; Wayne Strubberg and wife Tina of Washington and John Strubberg and wife Misty of Cuba. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents, by a daughter Amanda Pendergraph and a brother Kenneth Strubberg.

A Memorial Service was held Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, Missouri, with Pastor Darrel Deeker officiating.
