Lloyd M. Ruediger, 84, of Berger, MO, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 at his home.

 

Lloyd was born in Berger, Missouri on October 26, 1938, the son of the late LeRoy Sr. & Edna Minnie (Willimann) Ruediger.

 

He was united in marriage to Myra Lea Groner on April 11, 1964, at St. Paul's Church, Berger, Missouri.  Myra preceded him in death on December 16, 2020.

 

Lloyd proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He was a member of St. Paul's Church, Berger, and a very dedicated member of the Berger/New Haven Fire Department.  He worked as a truck driver for Kellwood Manufacturing most of his career.

 

Lloyd is survived by two sons, Greg Ruediger & wife Michelle, of Hermann, Missouri; and Rick Ruediger & wife Pam, of New Haven, Missouri; a daughter, Lisa Schaeffer & husband Chris, of Hermann, Missouri; a sister, Doris Vedder & husband Eugene, of New Haven, Missouri; a brother, Rudy Ruediger & wife Ramona, of New Haven, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Lois Jean Kappelmann & husband Arvil, of Washington, Missouri; a brother-in-law, H. Wayne Groner & wife Cindy, of Berger, Missouri; four grandchildren, Brady Ruediger & wife Christin, of Hermann, Missouri; Austin Ruediger & wife Chelsea, of Hermann, Missouri; Kyle Ruediger & wife Amanda, of New Haven, Missouri and Kate Ruediger, of New Haven, Missouri, and by eight great grandchildren, Myra, Kylee, Baylee, Skylar, Reid, Mack, Curtis and Colson.  He is preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy & Edna Ruediger, his wife, Myra Lea Ruediger, and a brother, LeRoy Ruediger, Jr.

 

Visitation will be held Wednesday 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Missouri.

 

A funeral mass will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, Berger, Missouri, with Father John Deken officiating.

 

Burial will be at St. Paul's Cemetery, Berger, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Cemetery or Berger/New Haven Dire Department.
