Mark Alan Bickmeyer, 58, of Hermann, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City,  Missouri.

Mark was born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 13, 1963, the son of Edmund & Eleanor (Schweppe) Bickmeyer.

He was the husband of Joann (Milanowski) Bickmeyer. They were united in marriage on April 17, 2018, in Hermann, Missouri.

Mark was a graduate of Hermann High School and an Eagle Scout. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann, Missouri. 

Mark was a bricklayer for many years and also worked at Simon’s and Stony Hill Hall. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family and his cat Phred, hunting, working at the farm building deer stands, restoring Coleman lanterns, camping, boating, fishing, and he loved history and gardening with his mom.

Mark is survived by his wife, Joann Bickmeyer, at the home; his mother, Eleanor Bickmeyer, of Hermann, Missouri; two sons, Josh Bickmeyer & wife Jessica, of Montgomery City, Missouri; and Austin Bickmeyer, of St. Peters, Missouri; three daughters, Shelby Bickemeyer & boyfriend Tony Huelsmann, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; Desiree Dobson & fiance’ Nathan Staas, of Hermann, Missouri; and Evelyn Dobson & boyfriend Harley Ault, of Hermann, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, Kayden, Rylinn, Jase, Rhett and Emmett; by a sister, Diane Witthaus & husband Scott, of Rogersville, Missouri; a brother, Kurt Bickmeyer & wife Janelle, of Hermann, Missouri; his mother-in-law, Irma Lottmann, of Rosebud, Missouri; his father-in-law, Allan Milanowski & wife Marie, of Burkesville, Kentucky, and many other family members and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father Edmund Bickmeyer.

Visitation was held Sunday, February 6 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services was held Monday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Darrel Deeker officiating.

Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery, Stolpe, Missouri. Memorials may be given to St. John’s Cemetery or Hermann Area Youth Deer Hunt. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
