Mona Kay Pollmann, 76, of Owensville, Mo., passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.

She was born on Aug. 19, 1942, to Harry and Elva (Langhorst) Schaefferkoetter at Washington.

She was united in marriage to Ruben Pollmann on April 26, 1963, at Rosebud Methodist Church.

Mona was a member of Rosebud Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Elva Schaefferkoetter; parents-in-law, Benjamin and Sophie Pollmann, sisters-in-law, Charlene Grus and LaVerne Fitzgerald; and nephew, Michael Grus.

She is survived by her husband, Ruben of the home; daughter, Lisa Brune and husband Michael of Rosebud; brother, Dennis Schaefferkoetter and wife Sandra of Rosebud; brother-in-law, Herbert Fritzgerald; nieces, Doris Ownby, Carol Bailie, Carrie LaParry, and Sara Kemp; nephews, Keith Grus and Steven Grus; honorary grandson, Cody Boehm and honorary great-grandsons Rayden and Emerson Boehm and their respective spouses and significant others.

Visitation was on Thursday, May 30 from 9-11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.

Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the Chapel with Pastor Beth Duckworth officiating. Burial will be Rosebud Methodist Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville.
