Nancy Lee Hebbeler

Nancy Lee Hebbeler was born March 29, 1940 in Washington, Missouri to Ethel and Henry McCurdy and passed away on December 28, 2022 in Sun City, Arizona.

Nancy was a vibrant wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that loved people, dancing, learning, and socializing.  Nancy cared for the elderly, doted on the young, and brightened every room she entered with laughter and life.

Nancy spent her early years in New Haven, Missouri, working alongside her parents at their restaurant while attending school.  After high school, she married Edward Frazer Hebbeler on December 1, 1959 in Sappington, Missouri.  In 1975, Nancy and Ed moved from New Haven to Sedona, Arizona with their five children and 3 dogs.  In Sedona, Nancy became a licensed realtor and broker and then successfully opened and ran Hebbeler’s Realty until Nancy and Ed relocated to Sun City, Arizona in 1996 where she spent the rest of her days.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ethel McCurdy, and her husband of 51 years Edward.  She is survived by her five children, 14 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren;  Cliff J Hebbeler of Lancaster, CA; Troy Hebbeler and his three children of Greeley, CO; Clay Hebbeler, his wife Ruth and their two children of Renton, WA; Kim Martinez, her husband Ruben and their three children and two grandchildren of Dallas, GA; Carmen Queen, her husband Tim, their six children, and their two grandchildren of Fleming Island, FL.  Nancy is also survived by her sister Anna Mae Wesselschmidt of Lees Summit, MO, and her sister Sally Meyer and her husband Louis of West Plains, MO.

A graveside service at the New Haven Cemetery will be followed by a celebration of life for her family and friends in New Haven, MO on June 17th. 2023.
