Robert Ray Fleer, 81, of Gerald, MO, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024 at New Haven Care Center, New Haven, Missouri.

Bob was born in Gerald, Missouri on May 10, 1942, the son of the late Edwin & Emma (Brautigam) Fleer.

He was the husband of Carol (Haeffner) Fleer.  They were united in marriage on November 13, 1965, at St. John's Evangelical Church, Swiss, MO. 

Bob served his country in the United States Army.  He member of St. James Evangelical Church, Stony Hill, Missouri . 

Bob was a farmer and loved working on the farm.  He also worked for Chrysler for 6 years.  He also enjoyed spend time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Fleer, of Gerald, Missouri; two daughters, Rebecca Hart & husband Steve, of Gerald, Missouri; and Sandra Kay Fleer, of Gerald, Missouri; a son, Daniel Fleer & wife Tricia, of New Haven, Missouri; two sisters, Marion Hoffmann, of Jefferson, Iowa; and Doris Lukin, of Webster Groves, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Meyer & husband Bobby, of New Haven, Missouri; and Shirley Finke & husband Roy, of Rochester, Minnesota; by four grandchildren, Crystal and Dana Hart and Bailey & Samantha Fleer, two step grandchildren, Nicole Nuss & husband Ben, of Michigan and Nathan Hart & wife Jesse, of North Carolina; and three great step grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Merlin & Dennis Fleer.

Private graveside services will be held at St. James Evangelical Cemetery, Stony Hill.  Memorials may be given to the cemetery or New Haven Care Center.
