Shirley D. Zork

Zork, Shirley D., (nee Kershner) of St. Louis and New Haven, MO entered into rest on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the age of 94 just a few short months after the passing of her beloved husband Donald G. Zork. Donald and Shirley were married nearly 65 years. 

Shirley’s love of fashion guided her to a career as a fashion buyer at Stix Baer & Fuller where she met Donald.  After leaving Stix, Shirley worked as a manager of five departments for Saks Fifth Avenue before becoming a realtor and finally a full time homemaker. 

Shirley was a fabulous cook and loved to bake cookies.  Friends looked forward to and were honored to receive exquisite cookie trays every year at Christmas.  

Shirley embodied kindness, warmth and grace and was always smiling and cheerful.  She had a generous and caring personality and was enthusiastic about everything she touched.  We will cherish her memory in our hearts and miss her forever.
