Steven Forest Claggett

Steven Forest Claggett was born May 27, 1947 in St Louis, MO to Forest and Dora (nee' Kirchoff) Claggett. He passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 in Union, MO at the age of 75 years.

Steven grew up in Union, MO. He attended the University of Missouri and completed a Bachelors Degree in industrial engineering and computer science. He was united in marriage to Gale Delbruegge in 1968 at Zion United Church of Christ in Union, MO.

Steven enjoyed a successful career as a professional engineer for Ajilon Consulting and was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of the company in 2005. He retired from Ajilon Consulting in 2006.

Steven served as president of the Four Rivers Genealogical Society and was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and Washington Historical Society. He enjoyed gardening, genealogy, and writing.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Forest and Dora (nee' Kirchoff) Claggett.

He is survived by his wife, Gale Lee Claggett of Union, MO; one son, Jonathan Claggett of Phoenix, MD; one daughter, Jennifer Hampton and husband Daniel of Darlington, MD; two grandchildren: Donald Hampton of Darlington, MD, and Dora Hampton of Darlington, MD; two sisters: Linda Scharfenberg of Union, MO and Lauri Deaton and husband Bob of St Clair, MO.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Franklin County Humane Society and Four rivers genealogical society

Services were held privately.

The Claggett family was served by Oltmann Funeral Home in Union, MO.
